Description: Medical Center of South Arkansas is a part of this community - in partnership with our neighbors. We are a 166 bed acute care hospital with extensive services available. MCSA serves a population of 155,000 in South Arkansas and North Louisiana. We hold a three-year JCAHO accreditation, and employ 750 people. Patients are cared for in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings. Our services not only focus on the treatment of existing conditions, but also on preventive medicine for the entire family.

MCSA is part of the Triad Hospitals organization and is a SHARE Foundation Partnership. Triad is a network of hospitals located in the western United States. As part of this partnership, we have adopted initiatives designed to make life healthier, simpler, and less intimidating.
